FAQ


(1)Why Network connection is not stable?
*Network is not stable.
*IP address is conflicted.
*MAC address is conflicted.
*The net card of the DVR is bad.

(2)Why does the DVR reboots automatically or stops working after booting up a few minutes?
*The input voltage is not stable or too low.
*The hard disk is damaged or the hard disk cables are broken.
*The power of the switch power supply is low.
*Frontal video signal is not stable.
*Bad heat radiator or too much dust or bad running circumstance for the DVR.
*The hardware of the DVR is damaged.

(3)Why the DVR can not boot up normally?
*The power supply is not correct.
*Switch power supply line is not in good connection.
*Switch power supply is damaged.
*Check the on-off switch line, is it well-connected?
*The program updating is wrong.
*The hard disk is damaged or the hard disk lines are broken.
*The main board of the DVR is damaged.

(4)Why Network connection is not stable?
*Network is not stable.
*IP address is conflicted.
*MAC address is conflicted.
*The net card of the DVR is bad.

(5)Why is the image not clear or no image in network preview state or video file playback state?
*Network is not stable.
*The PC is resource limited.
*Choose the All channels in Sub-stream mode.
*The region shelter or channel protection is set.
*The real-time image of the hard disk recording machine itself is not clear.

(6)Why can not I have access to the DVR on IE?
*Check that the LAN cable is well-connected.
*If you selected NETWORK ACCESS as STATIC, check that you have changed the IP, DEFAULT GATEWAY, PREFERRED DNS SERVER AND ALTERNATE DNS SERVER in your DVR according to your router.  
*Check that you have forwarded both the SERVER PORT and HTTP PORT in your router, under which your DVR is connected. If your router supports UPNP, please enable UPNP both in the router and DVR. Then, please check the list under UPNP whether the two ports have been forwarded autiomatically.
*Check to make sure that you have added the DVR IP or DOMAIN NAME into trusted websites and make the default LEVEL for it as LOW. (The details is in the INSTRUCTIONS FOR IE ACCESS).
*Check that you have the right IP address for DVR. If the HTTP PORT is not 80, but 901 for example, please add the HTTP PORT 901 after the IP address. For example, IP address is 183.23.56.20, Port is 901, then please use http://183.23.56.20:901 to login the DVR. The same with the domain name.
*Check the LAN connector on DVR is in good condition.

(7)Why is the local video not clear when playback?
*The image quality is too bad.
*The reading program is wrong. Reboot up the DVR.
*The data line of the hard disk is damaged.
*The hard disk is damaged.
*The hardware of the DVR is damaged.

(8)Why can't the DVR list the video files in local playback mode?
*The data line of the hard disk is damaged.
*The hard disk is damaged.
*Update the different program with the origin program files.
*The video files to look up are covered.
*The recording is not on.

(9)Why is there no Recording icons on preview?
*Make sure that HDD is formatted.
*Check the power and data connection cables of the HDD.
*The HDD is defective.
*The SATA port is not working.

(10)Why is DVR having problem with real-time images, such as bad image color or serious brightness distortion?
*Check the brightness of the picture and bring it back to its original default setting.
*DVR is not compatible with monitor.
*The video transmission distance is too far.
*The hardware of DVR is defective.

(11)Why is there no output of single channel, multi channel or all channel video?
*Check the adaptor of camera whether to see if it is well-connected.
*Check the cable for connecting video input/output in the back panel of DVR.
*Insert the video source directly into the display device and check if they are causing the problem.
*Check the brightness of the picture and bring it back to its original default setting.
*No video input signal or too weak.
*Display settings in the preview set to be closed.
*The hardware of DVR is defective.

(12)Why does the PTZ seem unresponsive?
*There is something wrong with the frontal PTZ.
*The setting, connection or the installation of the PTZ decoder is not correct.
*The connections are not correct.
*The PTZ setting of the DVR is not correct.
*The protocols of the PTZ decoder and the DVR are not matched.
*The address of the PTZ decoder and the DVR are not matched.
*When multiple decoders are connected, the far port of the PTZ decoder line A(B) must connect a 120Ω resistance to reduce the reflection, otherwise the PTZ control is not stable.
*The distance is too far. 

(13)Why does the DVR seem unresponsive when operating with the IR remote control?
*The remote control address is not correct.
*Check that the batteries are installed correctly in the remote, making sure that the polarities of the batteries are not reversed.
*Make sure the batteries are fresh and are not out of power.
*Make sure the remote has not been tampered with.
*Make sure that the distance of remote control is not too far or the angle too deviated.
*Check around and make sure there are no fluorescent lamps in use.
*Remote Control is damaged or the front panel of DVR is damaged.

(14)Why the DVR system can't detect hard disk?
*The hard disk power supply line is not connected.
*The cables of the hard disk are damaged.
*The hard disk is damaged.
*The SATA port of main board is damaged.
